VEGETARIAN PROGRESS : WEEK 16 ( CHOOSE CRUELTY FREE)

Well, Hi!

Nggak kerasa banget udah 4 bulan being vegetarian, and everybody around me now knows that i am no longer eat meat and their products ( except egg and dairy, which i dont eat them everyday tho )

So, anyway being a vegetarian is a lifestyle not only about the food but also about the products that I use everyday which is free animal cruelty or not. 

So here it is, I wanna talk about what is animal cruelty free, animal tested, and what is the difference.

Animal Testing :

Operation on a living animal for experimental rather than healing purposes; more broadly, all experimentation on live animals",although dictionaries point out that the broader definition is "used only by people who are opposed to such work".The word has a negative connotation, implying torture, suffering, and death.The word "vivisection" is preferred by those opposed to this research, whereas scientists typically use the term "animal experimentation". In short, you use non-human animal to test some product before it launched to the public. 

Animal Cruelty Free :

Its an opposite of animal testing, the product is against animal testing. They dont use or tested their product to animal, yet can be tested to human. 

So, here is the list of the animal friendly products that you can easily find in Indonesian drugstore :

- Lush ( Order it online its vegan friendly )

- Wardah

- Mustika Ratu

- La Tulipe

- Inez

Or you can easily find the Halal symbol on your products. If it has Halal logo on it we can pretty much assume that its not contained an animal inside. Or simply choose the product that made from herbs or nature. 

You dont have to be vegan or vegetarian to see the truth about animal testing industry, if you are a human and have a sense of humanity you will not buy this products. It doesnt mean I am mocking these product and asking you to stop buying this products, but please minimize the use of the animal testing products. Animal is our friend, we live in a same place and there is no law that said human is better than anything in this world, we are all an animal either, what make us different with other animal is we can think properly, we have intelligence , and we can use it to control what we should and should not do. And by the way, friend doesnt eat friend right?
